Our team visited the Orphaned kids and aged people at Dharmaveer Shambhu Raje Pratishthan at Tukai Tekadi Hadapsar
We donated books, stationery, Sports accessories, Seasonal Mangoes, Bedsheets, Food Grocery and utensils to the organization.
Also contributed Cow fodder to their Goshala. Our team spent time with all; sharing their stories and enjoyed breakfast with them. It was a day well spent by the Kumar Properties team.
Most of the times labor camp children lead a difficult upbringing as they have to give up school, sports, play and sometimes even their families.
However at Kumar Pebble Park we have developed a day care centre for these kids which has increased educational interest among the children.
We also provided financial aid to support their kids’ daily living. The Labor Camp is currently having 25 children at the Kumar Pebble Park.
Our team at Kumar Shiloh and Kumar Pebble Park celebrated the National Safety Week. It is observed to highlight the importance of Safety in all spheres of life so as to prevent mishaps and accidents out of neglect or lack of awareness. National Safety Council of India set up by the Ministry of Labour, Govt of India on 4th March 1966 to educate, influence society to adopt appropriate policies, practices and procedures for preventing human suffering and economic loss arising from all types of accidents. At Kumar Properties we follow the Safety First process and the policies for the labour and staff are outlined with this view.
Balgram Maharashtra is a Pune based NGO initiated to aid single parents’ kids and orphan kids by sponsoring their education and medical expenses. The NGO is currently supporting 50-55 children at their Shivaji Nagar centre. Along with good education, the NGO also conducts other curricular activities. To motivate the kids at Balgram, team Kumar Properties provided financial aid to support their educational needs and distributed refreshments.
Continuing to our social drive in 2019 team Kumar Properties visited two very special organizations Dnyangangotri School & Mamta foundation.
Dnyangangotri Residential School for Mentally Retarded in Dhayari, Pune is a free residential school for special children. Currently, the school is taking care of 50 kids, where they are teaching them some basic living skills like making Diwali lamps, candles, greeting cards, etc. to make their life self-reliant.
On the other hand, Mamta Foundation in Kondhwa, Pune is a welfare home established to take care of HIV+ve kids and women. The foundation was started with the aim to rehabilitate the lives of these HIV+ve children and women. Currently, they are taking care of 20 children.
To extend our support and assistance to these NGOs, we helped them with Grocery, medical checkups, medicines and necessary utensils.
Mahavir Nivasi Matimand Vidyalaya in Loni Kalbhor, Pune is a privately run school by Mr. Amit D. Taide and his team of teachers for the differently-abled orphans.
Their team ensures that each child gets special attention to make learning and development as their top priority. The current strength of the school is approximately 45 students along with residential facilities.
To encourage and support this act of kindness, team at Kumar Properties visited Mahavir Nivasi Matimand Vidyalaya in Ghorpade Wasti, Loni Kalbhor with stationeries, groceries, storage furniture, and other necessities.
We appreciate the work of Mr. Amit Taide and his team and thank you for allowing us to spend some quality time with these kids.
The Social Development Department of Pune Municipal Corporation, along with Bachpan Bachao Sanstha run a ‘Gharta Project’ (Gharta Prakalpa) for children living on the street. Through this project, they want to infuse good habits in these kids and develop their liking towards school & learning.
To support this initiative of raising better citizens we extended our helping hand by donating learning materials, harmonium, cupboard for extra storage space and other monthly utilities.
All the kids here are bright and confident, as they nicely introduced themselves and we could also spend some quality time playing and interacting.
Our best wishes are with these kids and hope they find plenty of happy memories and success in life.
Kumar Vasatigruh, Warvand gaon, Daund, Pune
Kumar Vasatigruh is a special hostel for poor and orphan SC & ST children. The hostel is currently functional in Daund taluka in Pune district.
Dr. Vijay Kumar has been working hard for the upliftment of these kids by providing them with education and other necessary facilities. There are approximate 77 children at Kumar Vasatigruh, from the age group of 5 yr to 15 yrs by providing them with free education, shelter facility, and a playground.
To contribute to Dr. Kumar’s journey of creating better citizens, Kumar Properties lend a helping hand by providing the hostel with an RO Water Purifier, Atta Chakki Machine other necessary groceries.
It was a wonderful experience spending time and interacting with Dr. Kumar and the kids.
Kumar Properties visits to aid Government Leprosy Hospital

On 8th September 2018, Kumar Properties visited the Government Leprosy Hospital, Kondhwa, to share some happy moments with the patients. Currently, the hospital is aiding more than 200 patients.
During our visit, doctors educated our team about leprosy and the challenges that a patient goes through during and after the treatment.
We shared our support by giving them stock of necessary medical aid/medicines.
Mother Teresa Ashram, Boat Club Road, Pune.
Mother Teresa Ashram is a social welfare group coming together to revitalise the deprived and differently-abled orphan women.
Mother Teresa Ashram is based in Pune and run by Sister Yliana M.C. and her team, for a very long time. Currently, the NGO is taking care of more than 80 women from different age groups.
To support and contribute to this noble cause, team Kumar Properties visited the Ashram on 11th August 2018 and 13th August 2018.
During this 2-days visit to the Ashram, we provided the team with daily essentials, cleaning and hygiene material, on day-2 we organized a healthy lunch for all.
Our team was overwhelmed, after seeing the admirable work of all the volunteers at the Mother Teresa Ashram and we give our best wishes to the Ashram to continue such noble cause.

Kumar Properties team visited Snehwan, an NGO based in Bhosari, Pune.
Snehwan is a shelter home run by Ashok Deshmane and his family to support the education of the underprivileged and cares for the deprived farmer’s kids. Currently the NGO is taking care of 40 kids.
On 14th July 2018, we had the privilege of visiting Snehwan and spending some quality time with Mr. Ashok Deshmane and the kids.
To make the day even brighter we gave the kids 2 set of school uniforms each and snacks.
We also supported the NGO with 2 months of groceries and essentials.
Team at Kumar Properties visited the Anaath Ashram at Tukai Tekdi in Hadapsar and distributed sports shoes to all the 110 kids from 1 to 15yrs age and clothing for the aged – about 25 adults residing at the ashram.
Our team spent the day with games and fun activities and sumptuous snacks. Team also donated kilos of grains, notebooks & stationery to the Ashram.
Team also distributed shoes in the labour camp with snacks.
